Morning lovelies! Did you have a wonderful weekend? I hope you had the same amazing sunshine I did yesterday – it was glorious walking in the forests near my home, almost magical. I’m feeling all in love with nature this morning and thought it would be the perfect time to share this beautiful lavender inspired wedding photo shoot with you. The gorgeous couple is Tamarin and Graham Hart, and the theme is Lavender Love!
The shoot, which was styled and shot by wedding photographer Corette Faux with flowers by Joanne Truby Floral Design, shows how you can incorporate fragrant lavender into your wedding day. Lavender makes me think of France in summer, of long lazy days and rustic celebraitons. The shoot also takes the lavender theme a step further, with simple, rustic ideas for a picnic style meal and beautiful sunny photos.
Back in the summer I remember seeing so many of these lavender field inspired shoots, and they’re so lovely you can almost smell the lavender. Think about scenes like this when choosing your wedding venue – is there a lavender field nearby? Could you spend a few minutes there with your photographer enjoying the scenery and making memories with your new husband or wife? Worth a thought…
